The Mayor of Baidoa District, Mr. Abdullahi Ali Watiin, conducted an official inspection today of the newly constructed Cunaay asphalt road.

The visit was part of the district administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the protection and development of the city’s economic infrastructure, particularly key roads that connect various neighborhoods.

During the inspection, the Mayor met with members of the Cunaay community, listening to their concerns and needs regarding the roads and other essential services.

Community members requested the completion of the remaining sections of the asphalt roads to ease the movement of people and vehicles.

Mayor Abdullahi Ali Watiin urged residents to closely collaborate with the district administration and to protect the newly constructed roads so that they remain useful and long-lasting.

He also encouraged the public to directly communicate their concerns and needs to the district administration, to ensure timely and community-centered solutions.

The Mayor emphasized that the Baidoa District Administration is committed to consistently monitoring the city’s ongoing development projects to ensure they bring genuine benefits to the community.
